# Data center position

The data position centre refers to the location (if this has been entered) within a rack positioned in a [server room](https://help.glpi-project.org/documentation/modules/management/data-centers#server-room), itself housed in a [datacenter](https://help.glpi-project.org/documentation/modules/management/data-centers).
